What led me to this career: My Grandparents immigrated to South Africa in the 1960’s without any education, however, through hard work and perseverance, they became successful in their own right. From a young age, they encouraged me to pursue a degree from a university to better myself. This is where law became the clear choice. Providing me with a career that my family can be proud of, while continuously challenging and rewarding me.

Name one thing on your bucket list?

To sing “you never walk alone” under the Anfield lights.

If you could choose any person from history to be your friend, who would it be and why?

I would choose Alexander Hamilton. Beyond the Broadway Musical (my favourite), Hamilton’s story inspires me. From humble and difficult beginnings, Hamilton used his intellect, ambition, and resilience to shape his own future. Using the law, Hamilton played a pivotal role in founding the financial and constitutional frameworks of the USA. He would be a valuable friend because he would encourage me to work harder, think bigger and to view obstacles as opportunities.
