What led me to this career: Initially, I was drawn to the confidence and presence lawyers carried. Over time, that fascination deepened into an appreciation of the law’s power to influence lives, shape society, and create impact.

In my downtime I like to

Spend time outdoors hiking and travelling. I recently hiked Rurimeria in the Aberdare Ranges, reaching 3,860 metres above sea level.

My favourite sport is

Hockey.

Lunch with the FT by Lionel Barber. It offers rare, honest conversations with people in positions of influence, revealing not just what they do, but how they think, doubt, and lead. It’s thoughtful, insightful, and refreshingly human.

Coffee or Ice cream?

Ice Cream, always.

Name one thing on your bucket list?

Travelling across Africa by road.

If you could choose any person from history to be your friend, who would it be and why?

Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She is an inspiration in breaking gender barriers. I like her famous quote: “Fight for the things you care about but do it in a way that will lead others to join you.”
