What led me to this career: I have been on the debate team on the debate team since primary school, all the way through to high school. After years of hearing teachers and friends say I would make a great lawyer, I guess I eventually took their advice.

Unwind and recharge, whether that’s catching up on a good series, spending quality time with friends, or simply finding a moment of quiet to reset a busy after a busy week.

If you could choose any person from history to be your friend, who would it be and why?
Lucy Diggs Slowe was a literal trailblazer who refused to be put in a box. As the first African American woman to win a tennis national title and the first dean of Women at Howard University, she has proved that you can be a high achiever in completely different worlds. I would love to be friends with her, because I believe her energy would be infectious and I would love to hear how she did it all.
