Pupillage Programme 2025

The following documents are required when applying:

  • Cover/motivation letter and updated CV
  • Certified Copies of all academic certificates and transcripts (secondary school and university)
  • Certified copy of your national identity card or passport


Please note that to be considered for a pupillage position in our Nairobi office, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • at the time of applying, have been admitted to the Advocates Training Programme at the Kenya School of Law (KSL) in its current academic year. (Please contact KSL for further details about admission requirements.)
  • hold an LLB degree from a Kenyan or foreign university with no less than an upper second-class honours
  • hold a KCSE Certificate (or equivalent) with A or A-; or
  • hold a KCPE Certificate (or equivalent) with A or A- 

Please note that we are not in a position to consider an incomplete application for any of our law graduate opportunities.

Our Pupils have the opportunity to rotate into four different practice areas over the course of their training.

Do I have an option of the practice areas to experience during the programme?

Yes, our students are given the opportunity to provide us with a wishlist of their preferred practice areas.
